That was the first photo Doug remembers as a child — the one that stood out as being “different” from all the previous family photos. His mother captured the photo and it’s what piqued his curiosity in photography early on. 

 In high school, Doug was the kid who volunteered to film and edit class videos. But as a small-town, Midwestern boy, he never thought it could be in his future. He took a different path that led to advertising as a graphic designer. Eventually, it led him back to making and editing images.

With more than 20 years in the agency world, Doug has flourished in his career, creating work for top brands — shooting campaigns, products, headshots, and social content for companies throughout the country. He’s also had the opportunity to embed himself in editing and creating animations for many different types of projects, 

 As a life-long learner, Doug has always tapped into his curiosity to learn the next big thing. While exploring and expanding his career, he’s been honored with prestigious awards for his talent, expertise, and commitment to his client’s vision.

When he’s not making or editing images, Doug is usually in a kayak waiting for the sunset, hiking along a trail, or traveling to his next adventure — always with his camera in hand.
